A bold watercolor, my nanny by ~Jaquio is the most simple of many talented works by this Chilean artist. (Suggested by ~goyira and Featured by `oedalis)
nice! what technique/software did you use to create this? I mean when I first saw it I thought it was digital art but looking at it bigger Im not so sure anymore
cool stuff though, love how simple it is yet nice detail work

you managed to stand out in the croud well done, was it acrylic inks
anyway that’s a great bit of detail on the frilly bits and rolled over tight bits looks right but oddly off it could be that the thurther leg is a little to light but I’m not sure you may also need to do a bit more more on the dress because it looks wishy washy against the better job you did on the top (parts of the top look glossy where as the skirt looks matt yet its all one coat) however this could just be a problem with the ink as the look depends on how its lay on, I’m also going to praise the eyes now because they have been done fantastically the stone was a very good choice gives it a air of commandment (strangly arrousing) anyway I like that and It’s going in my favourites simply because of the great job on the eyes and face. Which gives it the air of command.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
